Getting to know you

…No, not like that. Get your mind out of the bin, people. I’m referring to the all-important secret sauce of any marriage celebrant: familiarity. You see, it’s a big ask of a humble celebrant to talk, walk and feel like family to you on your wedding day - but it’s a damn necessity if you want a breezy, beautiful ceremony stuffed with inside jokes and bucket loads of feeling. This is why I spend the time, energy and effort to actually get to know you (in my special, non-creepy way), so that I can tailor your wedding ceremony to the most important people possible - you.

CEREMONIES WORTH CELEBRATING

Now that I’ve done the getting to know you part, I get to channel my best celebrant-self and design a ceremony that just feels like you. Not Kathleen and Joe from You’ve Got Mail, not Julia and Robbie from The Wedding Singer, not even Anna and William from Notting Hill. Nope, this ceremony will be all about you - reflecting your quirks, your sense of humour and narrating your very own epic romance. Not to humble brag, but I have been told by my loved up couples that I manage to balance laughs and legit intimacy like a professional plate spinner - so you can rest easy knowing you and your guests will be belly laughing and reaching for the tissues all ceremony long.

MAKE LOVE, NOT ADMIN

When it comes to the business of marrying, I really like to try and remove all the boring, box-ticking elements off your plate so you can focus on the whole celebration side of things. Why? Well no one dreams of their wedding day and has magnificent visions of marriage certificate lodgements at the post office. Forms, admin and snooze-worthy processes are all taken care of by me, while the rather important (and quite romantic) moment of saying ‘I do’ is handled by you.
